Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist (Registered) Berkshire. This role involves performing technical duties to administer complex cardio-pulmonary care treatments to patients according to physician orders. The position requires a minimum of five years of current experience as a Respiratory Therapist and offers a rotating shift schedule.
Job Details
- Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association), and active Massachusetts Registered Respiratory Therapist License.
- Education and License Requirements: Massachusetts Registered Respiratory Therapist License in good standing, active Respiratory Therapist Certification through The National Board of Respiratory Care.
- Years of Experience: 5 years current experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 11/16/2026 and ending 02/15/2027.
- Additional qualifications: Ability to cross-train in the cardio side of the department including EKG, stress tests, Holter monitors, event monitors, and EEGs.
- Equipment and software experience: Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred.
- Other requirements: The candidate must have their own vehicle, include their perm address in profile, and include all required scheduling requests at the time of submission.
- Clinical duties include working with patients of all ages in a hospital setting with inpatient and outpatient services, including emergency and critical care.
