Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a vital nursing role within a dynamic Cath Lab environment, providing key support to interventional cardiology services. As a Registered Nurse experienced in cardiac catheterization, you’ll play an essential part in delivering skilled, patient-centered care in a high-acuity setting.
Schedule/Hours:
- 1 weekend per month required
- Weekday call coverage 4-5 days per pay period (includes weekend call in total)
- Call shift: End of scheduled shift to 7:30 AM, Monday to Friday, as assigned
- Weekend call: End of shift Friday to 7:30 AM Monday
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in good standing
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience in a Cath Lab, including intra-procedural care, patient monitoring, and supporting cardiac interventions
- Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
- Familiarity with assisting in angiograms, angioplasty, stent placements, and other cardiovascular procedures
- Comfort with dynamic, high-pressure scenarios and effective team communication
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures and support interventional cardiologists during processes
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures, responding quickly to changes or emergencies
- Administer medications per protocol and document all procedural activities with high attention to detail
- Educate patients and families regarding pre- and post-procedure care
- Collaborate closely with physicians, radiology technologists, and ancillary support staff
- Uphold all facility safety and infection prevention protocols

$2,299 - $2,432/Week
Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
