Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical 2S Stroke Unit
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a position in the Medical Surgical 2S Stroke Unit. This is a night shift role, offering a great opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the Stroke Unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in patient education and counseling to promote health and wellness.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Qualifications
- Active Florida state or multistate nursing license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical nursing, specifically with stroke patients.
- Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills.
Work Schedule
This position requires working night shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM.
Dress Code
Employees are expected to wear gray or teal scrubs.

The position is based in a facility located in Florida.
