Job Summary
Pediatric Medical Floor Nurse (RN) Nights Denver, CO
This pediatric medical unit specializes in caring for high-acuity pediatric patients, including those with ventilator dependence, trachs, chest tubes, and trauma cases. The position entails providing compassionate and skilled nursing care to pediatric patients within a teaching hospital setting, with responsibilities for 14 weeks starting November 17, 2026.
Job Details
- Position Title: Pediatric Medical Floor Registered Nurse (RN)
- Specialty: Pediatric Medical Floor, Pediatric Medical
- Location: Denver, CO
- Shift: 12-Hour Night Shifts (1900 - 0700)
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, scheduled 4 days or less of planned time off, with weekend availability for 10 shifts within an 8-week schedule block
- Required Qualifications: Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), BLS and PALS certifications, minimum 2 years of Pediatric RN experience, BSN preferred, previous travel experience highly preferred, experience with neuro, trauma, and surgical pediatric patients, comfortable caring for vent-dependent pediatric populations, must be available to work 2 of the 3 holidays, seasonal influenza vaccine required.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable caring for high-acuity trach, vent, and chest tube patients. Experience with ventilator-dependent pediatric populations is highly preferred. The organization may float staff within the Denver Metro area up to 35 miles from the original assignment unless otherwise specified. No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment.
