Registered Nurse – ICU / 12-Hour Nights

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide ICU-level nursing care for complex patient populations including neuro/spine, patients on pressors, BiPAP with high FiO2 requirements, and patients transitioning to ICU-level care
- Perform and manage skills including chest tubes, wound vacs, dressing changes, femoral arterial sheath monitoring, DKA management, BiPAP, high-flow oxygen therapy, post-TCAR, and femoral endarterectomy care
- Manage arterial lines and support hemodynamic monitoring; Impella and/or IABP experience may be utilized and competency verification required
- Maintain patient ratios of typically 2:1, with 1:1 assignments based on patient acuity
- Float to ICU-level or lower acuity units throughout the hospital as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Washington or compact eligibility
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Must have completed at least one prior travel nursing assignment
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Experience with Impella and/or IABP devices
- Background in managing high-acuity cardiovascular and neurological patient populations
