Contract | Days | Onsite | 36 or 48 hours/week expected
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for individual patients or assigned patient groups in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff across float pool assignments
- Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams utilizing critical thinking and independent clinical judgment
- Apply professional and supervisory discretion in dynamic ICU and float pool environments
- Document and manage patient care using EPIC (required)
- Participate in holiday coverage, with willingness to work at least one major holiday per contract period expected
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification required
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- EPIC EMR experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Previous experience in an acute care facility setting
- Prior float pool or multi-unit ICU nursing experience
