Job Description: **ED HOLD POSITION!** WILL FLOAT TO MS/TELE WHEN NOT BEING UTILIZED IN ED HOLDING.RN who demonstrates understanding of evidence based practice, knowledge of pathophysiology, pharmacological implications, regulatory issues and service line disease process. Accurately and thoroughly documents assessments, performs clinical procedures (IV, Foley, dressings), effective patient and family education, meets standards in proper use of tele monitoring, IV, vent, and safe medication administration. Recognizes changes in patient’s condition. Role models CPMC safety behaviors. Reports errors and daily and near misses Acts as patient advocate. Works independently and as part of the team. Accepts constructive feedback. Maintains professional appearance. Completes tasks in timeframe, accepts duties as assigned. Takes initiative and conducts necessary follow up.Requirements:- CA RN Licensure- BLS (AHA) - ACLS- PALS- 2 years of experience in ED - MUST BE WILLING TO FLOAT TO MS/TELE WHEN NOT UTILIZED IN ED HOLDShift: 3 x 12 days; 0700-0930, weekend rotation required, no on call requirementAdditional Role Expectations:Assess and prioritize patients in a fast-paced emergency setting, respond to changes in condition, and coordinate timely care with the multidisciplinary team. Maintain accurate documentation and follow emergency and patient-safety protocols.Candidates should be prepared to collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, maintain professional communication, and follow all applicable patient-safety, infection-prevention, and documentation standards.
