Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Room setting
- Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation, with an acceptable score required on both
- Participate in holiday rotation, working at least every other holiday
- Adhere to facility compliance requirements including annual hands-on competency and pre-start modules
- Maintain active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications throughout the duration of the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Emergency Room nursing
- Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission — no pending licenses accepted
- Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required — no pending certifications accepted
- One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (co-worker references will not be accepted)
- Must have no open licensing hits or open background check cases
- Local candidates are welcome
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
- Experience within a single Emergency Room location (combined experience considered)
