Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
- Administer and monitor IV medications safely and accurately
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Document patient information and care interventions accurately in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Missouri or a compact state
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of IV medication administration
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a travel nursing or high-acuity Med Surg environment
- Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new care teams
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
