Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Step Down / Intermediate Care / PCU setting
- Monitor and assess patients requiring cardiac and progressive care management
- Perform and document neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 18 months of RN experience
- Strong cardiac PCU experience required
- NIHSS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-acuity Step Down or Intermediate Care Unit environment
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
