Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Charge Nurse in a fast-paced Emergency Room / Emergency Care Center environment
- Oversee and coordinate patient care activities, ensuring safe and efficient department operations
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
- Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Prior Charge Nurse or leadership experience in an Emergency Department setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency department
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in emergent situations
- Previous travel nursing experience
