Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | On-call requirements to be discussed
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with electrophysiologists and cardiology professionals to diagnose and treat complex cardiac arrhythmias
- Provide high-quality pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care in a fast-paced EP/Cath Lab environment
- Integrate seamlessly into an established cardiology team, maintaining continuity and quality of patient care
- Respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations, including CPR and emergency equipment retrieval
- Monitor patients using clinical observation and equipment alarms, demonstrating keen auditory and visual acuity
- Provide on-call coverage as needed, including after hours, holidays, and weekends
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent EP (Electrophysiology) experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arkansas or a valid Compact/Multistate license — license must be in hand at time of submission
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications required — must be submitted with application
- NIHSS certification required with submission
- Must have a permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Dual Cath Lab and EP experience highly valued
- Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records
