Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a 10-OR cardiovascular and surgical operating room environment
- Assist with and support cardiovascular, orthopedic, and trauma surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout the perioperative process
- Participate in on-call rotation, expected approximately 4–6 times per month
- Available for holiday call coverage as required by the unit
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure (or eligibility) in the state of Texas
- PeriOp 101 completion required
- Orthopedic and trauma surgical experience required — candidates without these skills will not be considered
- Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiovascular or surgical OR setting
- Familiarity with a high-volume, multi-OR surgical environment
