Opportunity Details
Medicus has partnered with a hospital located one hour from Indianapolis, Indiana, that has an opening for an OB/GYN physician to provide locum tenens coverage.
Opening Details:
- Level III Trauma Center
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday (7p-7a) + 24-hour weekend shifts
- In-house call coverage
- Daily Volume: 10 patients, 5 admissions
- Annual Deliveries: 1,600
- Responsibilities: Manage OB/GYN patients, deliveries, admissions, inpatient care, and ED consults
- Required Procedures: C-sections, amniocentesis, laceration repair, and gynecologic surgery
- OB ultrasound interpretation preferred
- Support Staff: APPs and midwife
- EMR: Cerner
- Must be board-certified
- ABLS required
- Paid travel & expenses
