Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–6:30 PM with occasional flex to later starts if needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring to patients recovering from surgical and procedural interventions
- Apply knowledge of airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management in a fast-paced PACU environment
- Deliver critical-care nursing interventions and respond to changes in patient condition
- Maintain flexibility to orient and work across multiple medical center locations as needed
- Complete required compliance modules during pre-start and annually as directed
Required Qualifications
- Active California RN License (must be in hand at time of submission)
- AHA BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Minimum two years of recent RN experience in Critical-Care Nursing (within the past five years)
- Minimum one year of inpatient PACU experience
- BSN degree required
- Prior travel nursing experience within the past 12 months required
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster required; proof must be provided at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CPAN or CCRN certification
- Prior experience in a teaching hospital setting
