TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Cath Lab RN — Assignment Details
Unit: 2 Cath Labs and 2 hybrid peripheral/OR rooms
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with coronary procedures, structural heart, complex PCI, and peripheral interventions
- Prior travel experience required; no first-time travelers
- BLS and ACLS
- Epic required; Epic Cupid preferred
- Strong critical patient assessment, vasoactive medication and sedation administration, sterile technique, airway management, and IV skills
- Experience with laser/lithotripsy atherectomy and devices including IABP, Impella, Rotoblator, and Penumbra
Schedule and patient care
- Ratio: 1:1
- Patients/procedures: Diagnostic caths, STEMI, cardiogenic shock, complex total occlusions, valvular disease, carotid/peripheral disease, limb salvage, and Impella/LVAD insertions
- Floating: None
- Weeknight call: 1–2 days weekly, 4:30 p.m.–6 a.m.
- Weekend call: Every 4th weekend, Friday at 4:30 p.m. through Monday at 6 a.m.
- Holidays: Possibly 1 per assignment
- RTO: Manager approval required
Other details
- Travelers must live at least 100 miles from the facility
- Former permanent staff must wait 1 full year before returning as travelers
- Orientation: Four 10-hour shifts
- Equipment: Alaris pumps and Omnicell
- Scrubs: Provided
- Parking: Free
