Position: Labor & Delivery RN
Schedule: 12-hour nights; one call shift per 4-week schedule
Experience: 3+ years, including cesarean section experience
Required: ACLS, BLS, NRP and AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring
EMR: Allscripts
Duties: Care for high-risk labor and delivery patients including pre-eclampsia; proficient fetal monitoring and management of fetal distress; circulate cesarean sections and function in both L&D and couplet care
Note: There is no OB or neonatologist in house, so strong independent assessment skills and the ability to manage OB emergencies until the provider arrives are essential; OB scrub tech and HUC support on the unit; pharmacy in house 24/7; may float to other units, usually Med/Surg
