Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) | Plymouth, MN | 13 Weeks

Abbott Northwestern – WestHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in a stand-alone Emergency Department and Urgent Care setting. The RT will provide respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients while assisting with a variety of patient care responsibilities.

Shift:

• 3x12 Nights

• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

• 36 Guaranteed Hours

Pay:

• Up to $2,048/week

Requirements:

• RRT Credential

• BLS

• ACLS

• PALS

• Minimum 1 Year Respiratory Therapy Experience

• Community Hospital Experience Required

Skills:

• Emergency Department Respiratory Care

• Adult Critical Care

• BiPAP / CPAP

• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)

• Intubation Assist

• Extubation

• Tracheostomy Care

• ABG Interpretation

• Airway Management

• Pediatric Respiratory Care

Facility Highlights:

• Stand-Alone Emergency Department & Urgent Care

• 17 Bed Facility

• Epic EMR Preferred

• Adult & Pediatric Patient Population

• Draeger Ventilators

Additional Responsibilities:

• Patient Triage Arrival

• Room Turnover

• Blood Draws (if experienced)

• EKGs

• Stocking & Unit Support

• Answering Call Lights

• Patient Assistance & Transport

Additional Details:

• Every 3rd Weekend

• No On-Call

• Up to 5 Days RTO Preferred

• Locals Not Accepted (100-Mile Radius Rule)
