Job Title: Travel RN – Emergency Room (Adult ER)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Experience: First-time travelers accepted
Charting: EPIC experience required
Required Qualifications
- Active New York Single-State RN License required (pending license not accepted)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong adult emergency nursing experience
Required Clinical Skills
- IV therapy, blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, and IV vasopressors
- CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator management
- Stroke (CVA), neuro-trauma, TBI, and spinal cord injury
- Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
- Adult/pediatric emergency care, gunshot wounds, and orthopedic trauma
- Triage and isolation precautions
- Pediatric spinal cord injury care
Additional Details
- Patient Ratio: 1:5
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
- Floating: Required within clinical competency
- Scrub Color: Navy blue and white combination
- Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday, as needed
- RTO: All requests must be submitted with the initial application
- Cancellation Policy: Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract
- Local Candidates: RNs residing within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible for the travel contract
