Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 4x10-hour shifts preferred | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Minimum of 10 shifts per month, alternating weekends | On-call required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care within a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, supporting Cath, EP, and IR procedures
- Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment and supplies in a 5-bed unit environment
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech documentation system
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities as required per unit scheduling guidelines
- Uphold a zero-tolerance standard for patient experience, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care
- Work collaboratively with unit secretaries and available technician support staff
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Florida (or compact license eligibility)
- Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including both Cath and EP experience
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled
Preferred Experience / Skills
- EP (Electrophysiology) experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Meditech electronic documentation system
- Experience working in a Chest Pain Center-accredited environment
