Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Acute Care Medicine PCU/Stepdown unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Document patient care and clinical information using EPIC electronic health records
- Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
- Complete all required facility orientation modules by the Friday of the orientation week
- Adhere to facility policies including natural nail policy and all compliance requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- EPIC charting experience required
- 2 professional references required
- Must be available to work assigned shift with availability disclosed upfront
- No radius rules — local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same base rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Prior PCU, stepdown, or IMC nursing experience
- Experience working in a high-acuity acute care environment
