Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Location unspecified. This position involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a short-term acute care facility. The role requires flexibility to float between units and work night shifts.
Job Details
- Position Description: 1st time traveler for a Medical Surgical (MS) RN role, with the ability to float between units as needed.
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid BLS certification, at least 1 year of recent experience in Medical Surgical nursing, current license in good standing.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Skills: Med/Surg nursing, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care and management, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, isolation precautions/PPE.
- Additional Information: Candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities; participation in modules is required during pre-start and orientation.
- Submission Requirements: Must include responses to questions regarding prior experience at a Providence facility and provide two references covering at least one year within the past three years.
