Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) needed in a healthcare setting. This role involves managing and coordinating nursing care for surgical patients, providing specialized treatment, and working in collaboration with the healthcare team. The position requires flexibility to work evening shifts on an as-needed basis, including on-call duties and every other weekend.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, and Experience: CA Registered Nurse License, BLS, ACLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS; Graduate of an accredited nursing program; at least 3 years of nursing experience and 1 year of travel experience.
- Schedule: Evenings, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Responsibilities: Ability to work with bodily fluids and substances, handle emergency or crisis situations, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: ACLS*, BLS, CNOR*, NIHSS, PALS*
- Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience, community hospital experience, trauma level I or II experience, proficiency in Epic charting system, and experience in various surgical specialties including General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Trauma, and Neuro.
- Additional Requirements: Ability to scrub or circulate surgical cases and maintain AORN standards of professional nursing practice.
