Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
- Support facility nursing leadership to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
- Monitor and maintain competency of clinical staff under supervision
- Manage resources appropriately as they relate to patient care at the unit level
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Experience in a Medical-Surgical nursing setting
- Demonstrated ability to assess and manage patient care needs on a shift basis
- Ability to supervise and delegate care to appropriate clinical staff
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience supporting nursing leadership in quality and safety initiatives
- Strong resource management skills in an acute care environment
