Contract | Nights | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting, including management of critically ill patients
- Manage and monitor patients requiring mechanical ventilation
- Perform IV insertion and maintain vascular access, including PICC lines
- Accurately document patient care and clinical information using Meditech charting system
- Float to other departments across facilities as needed based on a department-monitored rotation schedule
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of ICU experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Georgia RN license or Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Proficiency with Meditech electronic health records system
- Experience with PICC line placement and management
- Comfort with department-based float assignments across multiple care settings
