Job Summary
Registered Nurse Intensive Care Unit Tehachapi. The Registered Nurse delivers coordinated nursing care to individual patients or assigned patient groups according to established standards and the nursing process. The role supervises assigned nursing staff, coordinates interdisciplinary care, and applies critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment. The schedule consists of 12-hour day shifts totaling 36 hours per week.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing; acute care facility experience.
- Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing patient data, developing and implementing individualized care plans, evaluating patient outcomes, coordinating care delivery, promoting a safe and healing environment, providing education to patients and families, participating in discharge planning, collaborating with healthcare providers, and appropriately delegating duties to members of the healthcare team.
