Job Summary
Registered Nurse Medical Surgical Rehabilitation, Sacramento. The position provides specialized, patient-focused care to adults recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The role supports comprehensive rehabilitation focused on maximizing patient health, function, and quality of life.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 6 months of rehabilitation or inpatient experience; 2 years of experience identified as a must-have qualification.
- Schedule: Day shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with weekend coverage every other weekend.
- Additional Information: The role serves adult patients, including those with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, strokes, amputations, isolation needs, tracheostomies, wounds, and restraint requirements. Patient assignments may be approximately 1:5. Closed-toed shoes and short nails are required; acrylic nails are not permitted. Navy blue scrubs are preferred for registered nurses but are not mandatory. The assignment is scheduled from 11/02/2026 through 02/01/2027.
