Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 6:30 AM) | Onsite | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a 295-bed acute care facility serving an 11-county region in south central Kentucky
- Deliver nursing care aligned with facility standards, including cardiac and neurosurgery support services
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of more than 170 physicians across 38 medical specialties
- May be required to float within the facility or to units within the supervisor's designated area as needed
- Adhere to all facility dress code and compliance requirements throughout the duration of the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Kentucky
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in an acute care facility
- All required certifications must be obtained and verified prior to start date; the facility reserves the right to require additional certifications beyond those initially listed
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Medical Surgical specialty setting
- Familiarity with high-acuity patient populations in a large regional hospital environment
- Experience working within facilities offering advanced cardiac or neurosurgical services
