Contract | Rotating Shifts (Day and Night) | Alternate Weekend Requirement
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 10-bed ICU setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Transition to telemetry coverage as needed, maintaining a 1:4 ratio (1 ICU / 2 Tele)
- Float to other units as required based on staffing and patient census needs
- Monitor and manage critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Maintain availability for select holidays as required
- Adhere to all unit protocols, including Stroke 8 CE requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State RN License required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Stroke 8 CE certification required
- Prior ICU nursing experience required
- Willingness to float to other units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in both ICU and telemetry settings
- Familiarity with critically ill patient populations and high-acuity care environments
