Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Expected 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6-week period | Holidays as needed | No Call
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergency conditions
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and treatment plans
- Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
- Complete a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed) as part of onboarding requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
- No open background cases permitted
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CPI, PALS, and/or TNCC certifications preferred
- Previous experience as a Charge RN
- Level 2 Trauma experience preferred
