Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed PICU setting with pediatric patient populations at a 1:1 or 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Operate and monitor equipment including Nihon Kohden monitoring systems and Dräger ventilators
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EHR
- Float to the NICU as needed — frequent NICU float is required for this role
- Work every 3rd weekend and participate in on-call rotation as needed
- Complete Handle With Care training, required for all Acute RNs prior to start
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure valid for practice in the state of Montana
- Minimum 2 years of PICU experience
- NICU experience required due to frequent float requirement
- BLS certification required prior to start
- PALS certification required prior to start
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Level 3 NICU environment
- Familiarity with Cerner EHR documentation
- Experience with Nihon Kohden monitoring systems and/or Dräger ventilators
