Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to a primarily medical patient population on an 18-bed unit
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:5–6, delivering safe and effective care throughout each shift
- Perform and maintain IV and PICC line access and management
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes and care plans
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 18 months of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
- AHA BLS certification required
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
- IV and PICC line experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-acuity medical/surgical unit
- Familiarity with managing higher patient ratios in a fast-paced hospital environment
