Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting during night shift hours
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate timely and effective patient care
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of New York
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Prior experience in an emergency department or acute care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with high-acuity emergency cases including trauma, cardiac, and critical care presentations
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong triage and clinical decision-making skills in a high-volume environment
