Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Floor. The position provides nursing care to medical-surgical patients during day shifts in a structured inpatient setting. The assignment includes variable scheduling, every other weekend coverage, and floating as needed.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Active California nursing license; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC); at least 2 years of nursing experience.
- Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift; 36 hours per week minimum. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts for one week and two 12-hour shifts for the following week, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with variable days and every other weekend coverage. No on-call requirement.
- Additional Information: Patient care responsibilities include medical-surgical nursing. Floating may be required based on operational needs.
