The Lee Group is seeking dependable, energetic Packers to join the production team at one of our valued clients in Suffolk, VA. These positions offer steady hours, weekly pay, and the opportunity to work in a respected food and beverage manufacturing facility.
As a Packer, you'll play a key role in ensuring that finished products are safely, accurately, and efficiently packaged for distribution. Responsibilities include inspecting products, packaging finished goods, preparing pallets for shipment, and maintaining a clean and safe production environment.

Job Responsibilities of Packers
- Inspect, pack, and palletize finished products according to established production standards.
- Ensure proper labeling, product weights, and quality standards are met.
- Wrap, organize, and prepare pallets for shipment and distribution.
- Assist with organizing finished products and materials in warehouse and production areas.
- Monitor packaged products for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain clean, organized workstations and follow all safety and food-handling procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support smooth production operations.
- Follow established production procedures and meet daily productivity goals.
- Perform additional packaging, production, and general warehouse duties as assigned.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to learn and follow established packaging and production procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a production team.
- Previous manufacturing, packaging, production, or warehouse experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to work assigned 12-hour shifts, including scheduled weekends.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements of Packers
- Work in a food and beverage manufacturing and production environment.
- Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive movements throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods during 12-hour shifts.
- Work around production equipment, packaging machinery, and moving materials.
- Follow all established workplace safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures.
- Weekend availability is required based on the assigned work schedule.
Shift Details
Schedule: 12-hour shifts following a repeating 2-2-3 work schedule.
1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM
3rd Shift: 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM
Employees are assigned to a consistent shift and do NOT rotate between day and night shifts. If assigned to 1st Shift, you will remain on 1st Shift. If assigned to 3rd Shift, you will remain on 3rd Shift.
The 2-2-3 schedule follows a repeating cycle:
- Work 2 days
- Off 2 days
- Work 3 days
- Off 2 days
- Work 2 days
- Off 3 days
This schedule provides a consistent shift assignment with alternating workdays and days off, including scheduled weekends. Candidates must be available to work weekends as required by the schedule.
