Job Details

- Schedule: Day shifts, 07001930, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week; four weekend shifts required per four-week schedule; no on-call requirement.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience, including 2 years of non-travel staff experience; travel nursing experience required; California nursing license in hand; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; Level I trauma experience; electronic charting experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The role supports adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Documentation is completed in the electronic charting system. Floating may include medical-surgical care with a 1:5 patient ratio and emergency department holding. Holiday coverage includes at least two of the three major holidays. Clinical responsibilities may include ventilator management, central-line care, arterial-line management, blood-product administration, continuous intravenous sedation, vasoactive-drip titration, acute stroke management, renal-failure care, chest-tube support, and post-neurosurgical management.
