Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in acute patient care settings
- BLS certification (required), ACLS preferred
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to new teams and documentation systems
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care on a diverse Med-Surg unit
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and update care plans accordingly
- Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and post-discharge instructions
