Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of outpatient experience to treat orthopedic and neurologic patients in a clinic setting.
Details
- Outpatient clinic setting treating post-surgical and general orthopedic conditions (80%), lymphedema care (10%), and neurologic conditions (10%)
- Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, with negotiable options of five 8-hour days, four 9-hour days plus a half day, or four 10-hour days
- Caseload of approximately 10 visits per day
- Uses Epic for charting
- No on-call or weekend requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of outpatient physical therapy experience required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist required if applicable
- Epic charting experience required
- Experience with orthopedic conditions including cervicalgia, low back pain, post-op spinal/shoulder/cervical surgery, and total joint replacements
- Experience with neurologic conditions including stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and related disorders preferred
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include patient assessment, home exercise program development, and patient/family education
- Open to first-time travelers who meet experience requirements
- Completion of all facility-specific modules required within the first week of assignment
- Candidates previously employed by UCHealth or affiliates must disclose this information for eligibility review
- Returning travelers who completed a full year on assignment must wait at least one year before rebooking
- Accepts local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility
