Schedule: 19:00 - 07:30 (Night, 3x12-hour; every other weekend required)

Requirements: 7 years of RN experience; strong cardiac telemetry and observation-level nursing experience; ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS; Maryland or compact RN license upon submission; cardiac telemetry and telemetry monitoring; dysrhythmia interpretation and management; on-unit and remote telemetry monitoring; Rapid Response/Code Team experience; temporary and permanent pacemaker experience; pre/post hemodialysis and renal failure experience; blood product administration; central line, peripheral line, and PICC management; phlebotomy and starting/maintaining IVs; heparin protocol experience; experience managing non-titratable cardiac drips; CVA experience; oxygen administration, nasal cannula, and oxygen tank experience; isolation precautions/PPE; wound and wound vac care; Cerner experience
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in an Emergency Department Observation Unit.
- Monitor patients using cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias.
- Manage observation-level nursing needs for adult and geriatric patients.
- Administer blood products and manage central lines, peripheral lines, and PICC lines.
- Float within scope between like units based on facility needs.
