Job Summary
Emergency Room Pediatric Registered Nurse Austin, TX. Provides direct nursing care to pediatric emergency patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Responsibilities include coordinating interdisciplinary care, monitoring patient conditions, implementing care plans, and supporting discharge planning.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week. Assignment dates are 11/22/2026 through 02/20/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Nursing license verification through Nursys; professional resume; professional profile; two professional references; and completion of a nursing skills checklist.
- Additional Information: The role supports a 45-bed pediatric emergency department and coordinates care with social work, child life, and patient care technicians. The position includes monitoring and communicating patient conditions, carrying out physician and nursing orders, coordinating care across disciplines, and assessing discharge planning needs. Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is associated with the position. Navy blue scrubs are required.
