PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
REQUIRED PROCEDURESJOB REQUIREMENTS- Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or current ABMS-recognized specialty with 5 years continuous full time experience in high volume ED
- Licenses: Active unrestricted IN Medical License, IN State Controlled Substance, DEA with IN address and schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA with IN address and CDS required
- Certifications: BLS required
- Experience: EM residency graduates within 12 months or IM with 5 years continuous full time experience in high volume (>30,000 visits/year) ED
- Other Qualifications: CME Attestation, Case logs for past 2 years, Immunizations (Flu, TB, COVID)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide emergency medical care to patients in the ED, including trauma and acute conditions
- Perform moderate sedation procedures as needed
- Supervise and collaborate with NP/PA coverage and scribe support
- Manage specialty care rooms for ENT, orthopedics, GYN, and other cases
- Ensure compliance with facility protocols, documentation, and patient safety standards
