Assignment Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care for a travel assignment in the Flossmoor, IL area. This role will involve rotating between three offsite clinics, providing comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population. Ideal candidates will have experience with high-acuity situations and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
Assignment Details
- Location: Flossmoor, Calumet City, Tinley Park, IL
- Shift Details: 3x12 Nights
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2116.8 (negotiable)
- Patient Ratios: Days - 4, Nights - 5, Weekends - 4
- Orientation Hours: 12
- Charting System: Epic
- Weekend Coverage Required: Yes
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients in the Emergency Department
- Manage a variety of medical emergencies
- Administer emergency medications
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
- Maintain patient safety and confidentiality
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Emergency Room settings
- Experience with a patient ratio of 4
- Proficiency in Epic charting system
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Required Skills: Abdominal pain, Acute psychosis, Asthma, Burns, CVA, Emergency Medications
Preferred:
- Community Hospital Experience
