Assignment Overview
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab, where you'll provide exceptional care in a community hospital setting. Ideal candidates will have expertise in cardiovascular procedures and thrive in fast-paced environments.
Assignment Details
- Shift: Days with call
- Call Required: 2-3 days per week with rotating weekend call
- Orientation Hours: 40
- Estimated Gross Weekly Pay Package: $3234 (negotiable)
- Charting System: Epic
- Patient Demographics: Adults
- Interdisciplinary Support: IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary
Responsibilities
- Accurate monitoring of patients
- Perform angioplasty and aortography
- Conduct arrhythmia induction and electrophysiology evaluations
- Execute cardiac stent placement and pacemaker insertion
- Maintain sterile field and perform scrub procedures
- Interpret dysrhythmias and perform hemodynamic monitoring
Qualifications
Required:
- 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting
- IL RN license in hand
- Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS
- Skills: 3D imaging, accurate monitoring, angioscopy, cardiac ablation, cardiac implant closure device
