LocumJobsOnline is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Interventional Radiology MD in Bloomington, Illinois, 61701!
We are seeking an experienced Vascular/Interventional Radiologist for a 60-day assignment in Illinois. This Physician will work approximately 20 shifts per month, performing a wide range of image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for both inpatient and outpatient services. Duties include managing a diverse procedural mix such as biopsies, drainage procedures, vascular access, and oncology-related interventions.Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform a wide range of image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures supporting both inpatient and outpatient services.
- Manage a diverse procedural mix including biopsies, drainage procedures, vascular access, GI, GU, and oncology-related interventions.
- Conduct CT and ultrasound-guided biopsies (lung, thyroid, renal, liver, bone, lymph node, bone marrow).
- Perform drain placements and management (abscess drains, chest tubes, drain exchanges).
- Execute biliary procedures.
- Perform GI and GU procedures.
- Handle vascular procedures and access.
- Execute hemodialysis access procedures.
- Perform oncology-related interventional procedures.

- Other Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
- Patients per day: Annual IR census ranges from 1,800 to 2,000 cases.
