Our client in Kentucky seeks a dedicated OB/GYN Physician for a 7-day assignment beginning Oct 16, 2024. This role involves 24-hour shifts covering specific dates from October 16-19 and 23-25. The Physician will provide 24-hour OB call coverage, manage patients within a 17-bed Birthing Center, and oversee approximately 30-40 births per month in an inpatient setting.Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform 24-hour OB call coverage.
- Provide comprehensive care within a 17-bed Birthing Center supported by cross-trained nurses for labor/delivery, postpartum, and newborn care.
- Utilize 18 exam rooms and 2 procedure rooms for patient care.
- Oversee approximately 30-40 births per month.
Additional Information- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- This is an Inpatient setting.
- Call schedule involves Out of House Call.
- Average patient volume is 8 patients per day.
- LOA: 7 Days.
