The facility provides surgical services and is structured to support locum tenens coverage across the general surgery service line, with a focus on HPB surgical care. Clinical operations are configured to ensure quality surgical care delivery throughout each assigned holiday coverage period.
About the Facility LocationThe area offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of cultural and community attractions suited to varied interests. Throughout the year, local venues host art exhibitions, culinary experiences, live performances, and sports tournaments that draw attendees from across the region. Clinicians will also find farmers' markets, outdoor recreation opportunities, and a rotating arts calendar that supports year-round engagement during time away from clinical responsibilities.
About the Clinician's WorkdayClinicians will provide in-house general surgery call coverage on an on-site inpatient basis, with shifts beginning Friday at 5:00 PM and concluding Monday at 7:00 AM for each assigned weekend period. Clinical responsibilities are focused on HPB (hepato-pancreato-biliary) surgery, with on-site callback and inpatient rounding structured on Saturday and Sunday between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM, approximately 2-4 hours per day. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and board certification in General Surgery is required for all clinicians considered for this position.
