Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care across a high-volume OR environment with 10 suites plus 2 procedure rooms, averaging 40–50 cases per day
- Support a broad range of surgical specialties including Orthopedics, GYN/GU, ENT, and Ophthalmology
- Circulate cases effectively; scrubbing is not required but is considered a plus
- Participate in modified self-scheduling, including selecting preferred late days and days off; expect scheduled late shifts approximately twice per week
- Float to the inpatient OR on campus as needed to support staffing requirements
- Clock in and out at the facility per facility policy
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Strong overall OR / perioperative nursing experience
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their submission date
- Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to a local rate adjustment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with orthopedic cases including total joints, arthroscopic procedures, fractures, and podiatry
- Scrub experience as an RN, though not required
- Familiarity with high-volume ambulatory surgery environments
