Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 12 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected schedule includes every other weekend
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 36-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio (critical care patients at 1:1 or 2:1)
- Utilize Meditech EMR and Philips equipment to document and manage patient care
- Support stroke and STEMI center protocols and procedures
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, RNs, CNAs, and sitters
- Maintain PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in California
- Minimum 3–5 years of Emergency Department experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Current PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
- Experience with Meditech EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Charge nurse experience
- Prior travel or interim nursing experience working in California
