Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Expected 36–48 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to neurological and surgical ICU patients in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
- Manage care for trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patient populations
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation, order management, and patient charting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, initiating appropriate interventions as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of New York
- Minimum 2 years of ICU staff experience specifically with trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
- Trauma Level One experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Must complete a competency test within 24 hours of submission
- Candidates from ineligible local counties will not be considered for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume, academic or Level I Trauma Center setting
- Familiarity with neuro-monitoring and post-surgical ICU protocols
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in complex, multi-system patient cases
