Our client in Ohio seeks a skilled Physician specializing in Medical Oncology for a 120-day assignment, available as soon as credentialed. The role involves a Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM schedule with a 1:4 night and weekend call rotation, encompassing both inpatient and outpatient settings. This Physician will be responsible for administering various therapies, conducting patient assessments, and managing patient side effects and symptoms.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient care.
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, blood products, and supportive care.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
- Manage patient side effects and symptoms effectively.
Additional Information
- Board Certifications: Medical Oncology
- Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- EMR System: Epic
- Setting: Clinic and Call, encompassing inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
- Call Schedule: Out of house call, 1:4 night and weekend call coverage.
- Patient Volume: Approximately 2-4 patients per day in the hospital and 16-20 patients per day in the clinic.
- LOA: 120 Days
